The state-of-the-art g5 digital carillon provides the sound of cast bronze bells, enabling any church or community to add the warm authentic tones of real bells—at a fraction of the cost real bells. What is a digital Carillon?
A digital carillon uses the sampled sound real cast bronze bells that, when played through loud speakers, creates the authentic sound of a real-bell carillon. The nearly 8,000 carillon songs in the g5 library are not simply recordings of bells, but rather a MIDI file of an actual performance that is played back using the digital bells. Furthermore, attaching a keyboard to the g5 enables live performance on any of the bell voices and capturing a live performance that can be added to the library for automated playback.
With the optional g5 MIDI interface attached to a MIDI-equipped church organ, you can play the carillon in manner similar to a real-bell carillon with keyboard and pedals.
